Playing ability
In line with our ethos of reducing barriers to music making we don't audition new members or set minimum standards, however beginner players are likely to find the level of music we currently play pretty challenging.
You will be required to be able to read music to a reasonable standard and have your own instrument and music stand (or be able to borrow one!).
Attendance
We know that life happens and that band member will miss a rehearsal here and there, but we would ask that you only apply if you can commit to attending rehearsals regularly.
Band subs
All members contribute a monthly subscription of £10 per month (payable over 12 months) towards the operating costs of the band. We are always open to discussing options for those who feel finances may be a barrier to participation.
Accessibility
If you require any reasonable accommodations to allow you to participate please let us know and we'll do what we can.
Our current rehearsal and concert venues are wheelchair accessible.
