Glasgow Community Concert Band (or GCCB as we like to go by) is a fun, friendly, and enthusiastic group of people who enjoy playing music together, as well as socialise and support local events.

The original band was formed in 1988, and although it has been through a number of changes over the years, we still have a few members from the early days but many new members too! Whilst we are a traditional concert band in name and in some of the music we play, we are far from stuck in the past.

Our Committee is always open to suggestions and feedback from members and our Musical Director is always willing to open the floor to anyone who would like to have a solo opportunity, or even have a go at conducting! We also have recently set a social team to help organise events throughout the year.

 

We are a registered charity and in keeping with our charitable objects our band endeavours to reflect a community focused spirit and inclusivity.
